A 3-night, 4-day intention setting retreat deep in the Mendocino redwoods. Thursday, June 4 – Sunday, 7 2026 Spirit Camp · Little River, CA

Intention Setting Retreat

Intention Setting Retreat

The call is coming from inside the house

That restless feeling you keep pushing down? The version of yourself you keep promising you'll get back to? The gut instinct you've been talking yourself out of?

That's not noise. That's you, trying to get your attention.

The Shift is three nights in the redwoods where you finally pick up. Your true self, your body, your intuition, your self trust is calling you back to it. To listen to what your body needs & feel alive.

Where we're doing this

Spirit Camp is 27 acres of coastal redwood forest in Mendocino, California. One mile from the Pacific Ocean, 12 minutes from town, 3 hours from San Francisco. Ancient trees, real dark skies, campfire areas, private hiking trails, and the kind of quiet that actually does something to your nervous system.

It's a proper retreat venue — commercial kitchen, full bathhouse, a sunlit sanctuary space for our sessions — but it feels like summer camp in the best possible way.

Address: 4640 Albion Little River Rd, Little River, CA 95456

Who you'll be with

Ann samuelson

Your host

Ann has been leading intention setting experiences for 10+ years — in person, virtually, and everywhere in between. She teaches somatic dance, pilates, and yoga, and has spent a decade developing practices to help people get out of their heads and back into their actual lives.

She created The Shift because she's been the person on autopilot too. She knows the way back.

Expect: warmth, zero judgment, sessions that move you (sometimes literally), and a weekend that feels like something.

Daivya allmond

movement & fitness | Owner, BODY.

Daivya owns BODY., a private gym built on the belief that the work you put in has to mean something outside the gym. She's a former collegiate athlete, certified health coach, and 9-year veteran of building movement programs that actually work — because she takes the science seriously and the one-size-fits-all approach not at all.

At The Shift, she'll lead movement and stretch sessions designed to wake up the body, release what you've been holding, and make you feel like you live in yourself again.

FAQs / Things people ask

Is this for me if I'm not a yoga person / spiritual person / whatever?

1

Yes. There's no required belief system here. You don't have to be into crystals or be able to touch your toes. You just have to be a person who's ready to take a few days for themselves. The programming is diverse — movement, creativity, conversation, nature — and you follow what resonates.

What's the food situation?

2

All meals are vegetarian, freshly prepared, and served family-style so we eat together. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, just let us know when you reach out after booking — we'll make sure you're taken care of.

I'm coming by myself. Is that weird?

3

That's how most people come. And it's consistently what people are most glad they did. The folks who show up to something like this tend to be the exact kind of people you've been wanting to be around.

Is Spirit Camp substance-free?

4

Yes — no alcohol, cannabis, or recreational substances at camp. This is intentional. It creates a cleaner container for the actual work of the weekend. If that feels like a dealbreaker, this might not be your retreat — and that's okay.

What’s your cancellation policy?

5

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to transfer your spot to someone else at any point before the retreat begins. Just email us with your replacement's name and contact info and we'll handle the rest.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.

What do I pack?

6

Comfy layers (June nights in Mendocino are cool), movement clothes, a journal, and whatever you use to feel like yourself. A full packing list goes out after you book.

How do I get there?

7

Head north on 101 — Spirit Camp is about 3 hours from San Francisco. Address: 4640 Albion Little River Rd, Little River, CA 95456. We'll share a group thread after booking to help coordinate carpools if you need one.

How can I contact you?

8

Email samuelsonann@gmail.com — Ann on the other end.

You're already thinking about it.

Four days. Redwood forest. Vegetarian food that actually hits. People who get it. A body that remembers how to feel good. A mind that finally gets quiet enough to hear what you actually want.
